I am enjoying baby chicks, then I will be sending most of them off to the neighbor's 5 year old kid. (And educating new chicken mom too)! LOL

@Chickassan That includes poison ivy!

Yes there is.... People are treating chicks like TP. Just one trip to the store with no eggs and they want their own birds. I greet so it's been crazy out there. I've met at least a half dozen who bought CX for egg layers.Is chicken contagious? I now have one neighbor apologizing that she can not take the chicks she wanted and bringing the chicks food. Other neighbor of 5-year-old girl wants more??? Is there a Corona-Chicken Virus?![]()
Glad she is doing betterGood afternoon folks

Today was a good day. Sue was awake and alert when I arrived. She took about an hour nap and then spent the rest of the day awake, alert and talkative. She will no longer allow me to hold her cup for her to drink, she'll hold it and manages it well. She still has her headache but she seems to be getting used to it and it not bothering her so much. She's regained full movement of her right arm and there's no droop to her face.
They did restart formula feeding her as she's not eating enough, but she's doing better every day and we're working with the kitchen so they don't send things she won't eat. She's terrified of choking so she chews everything forever. It takes about an hour and a half for her to eat a meal.

I do believe that. It is not a good thing. Chicks are living beings. Even the $4.00 Ideal chicks are very much their own selves! And are already loved by said 5-year-old! She comes over as early as her Mom will let her! As the Chicken-Virus Spreads. (Que the Twilight Zone Music Here) Chicken Math always wins . . .Yes there is.... People are treating chicks like TP. Hiding from the Zombies Now.Folks, I'm on a roller coaster and don't know when this ride will end. I'm thrilled when we have good days. She was WAY more normal today that she's been since she was admitted. She keeps asking when she can go home and that date keeps getting pushed. Today anesthesia stopped by in prep for her Angiogram Monday. I let her answer all the questions without interfering. When the lady left, she thanked me for letting her do it. This is hard for me as I always have seen my role as my wife's protector, etc... But she needs to be able to manage on her own for her own good. So I keep my mouth shut and only interject when she asks a question.This made me very happy to read. I am so glad she had a better day....and that helped you have a better day too.
