Official Squatch Watchers

You ever have those days everything you touch falls apart? Don't try and build something when that happens.
Anyway after so many mistakes I can't count and a headache. This is how far a got on my new project. View attachment 2215862View attachment 2215863

Anyone who says they have never had one of those days is a big fibber.
It is having the will to persevere that counts on days like that. It is easy to get frustrated and give up.
I like the high peak you got there. Good job!
Is this for the japanese bantams?
Tractor coop?

Good morning folks :frow

Sue's moved from ICU to general population in preparation for the move to rehab. She's totally tube free now and gets to use a real toilet.

That is great Bob! How is she holding up mentally through all this? I cannot imagine it is easy to stay positive. :hugs
I am glad you found a place that allows her to have visitors. That is super important.

Good morning everyone. The wild birds are singing and the sun is coming up.
Wishing everyone a great day.

They allow one per day. I ruled three out because of no visitation.
With things the way they are, I am glad that you could find a place that would let her have visitors. It is still dark here, so can't take a photo yet, the chicks are doing great. They seem to like it a little warmer. The first day I had the brooder temp up to 105 under the heat, yesterday still 95 before they were comfortable. Our daytime high was almost 95, I am very careful to keep them from getting too hot, but these guys want it hot! Right now when I just checked them they are all spread out asleep and comfortable @ 93 degrees.

Good morning 'Watchers! :caf

This is a photo of the Barred Holland chicks on Friday, after 2 days in the mail. (Just because we need more photos of cute chicks). They are already bigger. When it gets light I will take some more. All are still here, sadly the neighbor's broody did not understand how to be a mom. She covered 6 all night, then in the morning she saw them and jumped up on a shelf as far as she could get from them, so I took them back. She fluffed up and clucked so nice when I put them under her. No way to figure out a chicken brain, if there is such a thing.

It was going to be but I'd had a lot of issues with them and I doubt I will have any out of this hatch. But I can use it as a grow out for the German Australian Chickens lol

Good morning everyone! I hope you are all having a good day.

Hoping to get the rest of the woodwork done on the chicken tractor today and get it painted. Also may see if my neighbor has some old push mower wheels I can use for it.
The goal is to finish it Monday and submit it to the contest on here :)
