Official Squatch Watchers

Well I've been painting today and realized the power is out! Hope it come back on before it causes problems with the eggs in my incubators.
Cover incubators with blankets...here you could put them outside, 93° today in the shade!

:( Electric stoves are not my favorite to cook on, so I did not think of that. I remember now what the other member uses, Therma care back wraps -- the kind people use for back pain, at the drugstore pretty reasonable, and large enough to cover her hatching chicks in the incubator. Here it is I found the article she wrote: https://www.backyardchickens.com/articles/emergency-chick-brooder-for-power-outages.75738/
Yeah, that works best for chicks, nit eggs. I’ve used them on eggs before but I get paranoid about the eggs not being able to move away from the heat.

Not even with a remote temp sensor? I think I would try it if my power went out and eggs were getting too cold. But, I have never incubated the eggs, I let the broody orpington do that job.

My holland lop babies....

:frow Good morning Henny, have a great day and thanks.

You have a great day too Bob. :frow

Should be in the low 80's today. That will be a welcome relief. I need to get my big shop table ready to move. The electrical work in the shop will be Sunday.
At least it is on giant casters. It is just a hot mess of stacked stuff on the bottom shelf. I plan to rebuild it so there is a secondary work bench under it that pulls out and has organized storage.
I have it drawn out in my head lol. All the benches are getting revamped.

Sounds good. I need to clean out the barn and setup my workshop.
