Looking good Cappy!

Good morning folks :frow

Good morning Bob. :frow

Good morning Mo. :frow

It will be nearly 100 here today. My part came for the weed eater late yesterday. I will get done what I can as soon as it is legal to make noise here. Then water as much as possible before it gets to hot. We got a little rain last night but just enough to wet the surface of the soil in the garden so not much.
Tomorrow is said to be just 80°. That will be a better day to do stuff.

:frow Good morning Mo, have a great day

I have 14 keets hatched (even the one I thought was going to die is fine, I can't tell which one it is) and 2 more hatching. I have 3 eggs I just moved from the incubator last night that are due to hatch today/tomorrow. Only 3 of the original 19 look like duds.

Holy moly bind weed is RIDICULOUS in how fast it grows!

I gave up pulling it and go medieval on it with my weed whacker. The battery powered one is weak but maneuverable and light weight. I have found it indispensable in the flower beds. With careful use I can remove 80% of the weeds right up to the base of most plants.
I do occasionally nick or chop a plant by accident but not much harm done.
It sure beats hand pulling all that stuff.
