It would be sad to see more breeds added, but (selfishly?) good to see I have several that are on the list. It actually helped me decide which rabbit breed I wanted to get into. American’s, by the way . And San Juan’s, but, sadly, those were an impulse purchase at the farm store. Someone had dropped them off. They’re super sweet though, you can tell they were handled.

Afternoon everyone!

We caught something in our hawk net. Unfortunately, it wasn't a hawk. It was a guinea. I think it is time to take the net down because the owl seems to have done its job. That and the crows are back.

Hello everyone! Break time. We are putting up a new garden fence.

Hot here...again/still. The dogs and I are hiding inside from it all.

Ducks and chickens have clean water and shade so all should be well there too.

River was having a reaction to the ear meds the doc put her on. She acted like it stung pretty badly. I picked up a different med yesterday that is a one time long lasting treatment. That went over far better than the other stuff. Poor doggie with giant ears.

The only drawback with this med is no cleaning/flushing of the ears for 3 weeks. I don't think River misses that either.

Well I suppose since we are in for the afternoon I can do housework.

Good afternoon! Rain break! This little smiley is supposed to be doing the rain dance. New lawn cost us an extra $200 on our water bill due to no monsoon. Half is now tax deductible due to the AirBnB this month. Can't take a vacation in the mountains and have dead grass! And cute gardens need maintenance, half also deductible.

I'm so glad I don't have a water bill or a sewer bill really. I hate my septic tank system because I think it's a stupid way to do it.
But other then electric to run the well pump and run the septic tank it doesn't cost me anything for either.
