Official Squatch Watchers

Ok the delaware is just not right. I was cooping everyone up and noticed she was penguin walking, of course I'm thinking oh boy time to drag out the olive oil and rubber gloves. She went up the ramp and just popped out an egg then jumped on the roost like nothing happened. I got to gather a wet egg yay, i guess? :lau

I finished the bunny cage except the roof. But i put a piece of metal roofing over the top. The cage is inside the goat shed for now. I called it the bunny barn and hubby goes, THAT is a bunny barn now? I said well , i have no goats so i might as well put bunnies in it!:lau
Pretty crooked looking, the floor is crooked and i was using crooked boards. Plus i put the legs on after the fact in the dark barn. I will do better next time. But it will keep the bunnies in so that is what counts.

Better than going up after it!

PBM and folks, I thought you could use some humor at my expense...:highfive:

You'll have to do the visual based upon your own experiences... DW and I just finished rescuing 30 unwilling chickens from a mud/poop slide. A couple inches of rain and everything piled up inside their shelters. There's a 30* grade on this particular pasture which has water flowing over it and of course mud and poop everywhere. And of course the chickens are covered as well.

Now imagine me, trying to maintain my footing and netting these chickens who don't want to leave the safety of their shelter and now imagine what DW and I looked like when we got done putting them in crates to move them to the greenhouse. You know they were flapping wings and kicking mud and poop everywhere.:rant

By the time we got back into the house, we were covered, head to toe and on all sides with muddy poop. The grand daughter came running when we walked in the door and then froze and just said eeeewewew:sick:lau:gig Glad there was no video out there.

Oh dear gawd... this.... is...... HILARIOUS!!!

:lau x infinity!! Bob covered in bird poop. yesssssssss!!!:yesss::goodpost:

Oh yuck! I did not want to pick up that egg it was glistening and of course shavings covered as well. I has to though everyone was going to bed and i couldn't just leave a egg in the floor. :hmm
I collected eggs in the near dark and got a wet one. Poop covered that is! Someone has taken to making two deposits in the nest box. I came in the house carrying the egg with pine shavings stuck to my fingers.

I'm sooooo sore.. Net kept filling up with poo and water, making it nearly impossible to catch them. More than once I was working the net, hanging onto the shelter as my feet slid out from under me.:barnie

Been there sorta with wild slipping and sliding trying to catch a bird. Mine were ducks and geese on frozen ground. I was trying to get them into the barn. That was when my old pit decided I needed help and herded half of them. Before that day she would have played them to death.
The sore and poo covered sux.
SSSSSOOOOOOO even though we laugh it is one of those "But for the gave of God go I" moments.
