😲 Exactly!
Life outside of that pen is going to give them all heart attacks.
They'd have climbed my leg if they could have.
That poor bird has to be traumatised, a 11 chickens freaking out over it.
Homer, had a chunk of banana gave no buks about the bird.
Proud of her, she has priorities and likes bananas.
I was trying to find a replacement light for the coop when murder bird happened.
The one iv'e had for a few years wont charge anymore.
Im pondering these led strips , usb plugged into a power bank to light things up.
They stick really well and bend fairly climate tolerant, no heat.
Won't buy from these guys, theirs stick to mental.:gig

Good gawd sticks to mental....I don't want those either! I would never be able to shake them off!

I like having lighting in my coops too. Some solar strip lights have switches these days. I got some micro lights but haven't tried them out yet. The ducks are easily woken by lights coming on in my kitchen....not sure I want to freak them out even more.

Things will certainly be interesting once they are out of that pen. Squirrel Bob might get a fright from their freak outs. 😱

Henny Ha! Being lit up didn't appeal to me either lol!
Iv'e got to have some lighting out there especially in the winter, it gets so dark at a nutty speed my lasts to bed can't see a thing.
I got to say the usb rechargeable bulbs lasted longer and performed better than expected.
I totally got my 5 bucks worth.
Glad River is looking good, you've told her no more rocks I assume.
You did just save her a lifetime of going into heat, not eating rocks is a nice gesture of gratitude.
