I totally understand about a nice soak, we had a hot tub in Virginia and here we have a large tub with jets. Regretfully the tub doesn't get used.

Both my boys got teeth early. Thing one got his first at 3 months and Thing 2 had his bottom front teeth right under the surface at 2 weeks old. They broke through around 4 months I think, but it still hurt when he bit. At a absolute minimum, I want to nurse for a year so I don’t have to deal with milk supplement bottles. If they are generally good nursers after that I don’t mind nursing longer. I did the “bite and nursing session stops” training too. They didn’t like suddenly being plunked in a bassinet or on the floor. By biggest issue with Thing 2 now is detaching him when he falls asleep. I have to stick my finger back behind his teeth and between his gums to release suction and to keep his jaws apart because half the time he bites a bit if I just try to pull him off. It isnt something he’s doing intentionally because he’s asleep. My mom weaned my middle sister at 6 months. From the time she was born she would bite and pull if the milk didn’t let down quickly enough for her. My mom tried training her not to bite but nothing worked (she’s still really willful and stubborn). When she cut the first edge of one of her teeth at 6 months and drew blood, that was it for my mom. Don’t blame her at all.
