Official Squatch Watchers

I know!

They have conflicting regs too. One says "as many as can be properly housed and cared for without creating a health hazard or nuisance" another says 6 with permit and inspection and restricts coop and run size.

I went with the city one which is the only one that existed when I got birds. The more restrictive county one would mean ripping out thousands of dollars in structure, fencing and getting rid of almost every bird I have.
Hopefully there would be a grandfather clause, especially if you’ve been a good girl ;)

I am not terribly worried about it. If the rule is enforced at 6....well I will just have to live with that. No sense fretting over it unless someone complains.

The meter readers are in my back yard every month, utility companies use the alley, the city mows it. I guess if there was a serious issue then I would have already been reported......

You all are amazing! :bow Thank you for all of the ideas!
Totally missed responding... if none of the other ideas work I would try the skunk spray mix. A bottle of 3% peroxide, 1/4 cup baking soda, 1/4 tsp blue dawn. It will foam like vinegar and baking soda so don't seal it in a container.
You don't have to be exact in measuring. You can make it thicker like a paste and smear it on the walls and let it sit a little. Also a good old fashioned bowl of baking soda on the shelf. The more open the bowl top the more oder it will absorb.

And just in time for your birthday @Chickassan

It was a beautiful day today, and the air was so fresh and clean! I did enjoy working outside. Also fixed the grout in the bathroom where it had come up. Right about now I could easily dose off.

Can you bottle some of that clean air and send it to me?
We are still campfire status here.
