That would feel nice, mist is always nice to walk around in for me 🤷 enjoy your day and weather

It is a bit chilly at just under 50° but certainly a welcome relief. We have been unusually warm here. The coming week is forecast to be far more normal.
I should clean the ducky house to make sure they have very dry bedding for the coming lows in the 20's.
Each day brings us closer to next spring and all the promise it holds. I really like spring best. 🌷

Spring is definitely nice, the weather is pretty nice " hopefully " and all the new life it brings!!

Cleaning the duck house does not sound fun, but necessary 😒 I never like that part of the farm. Getting them ready for the change of weather, oh joy. 😝 I do it, I just don't enjoy it !!

The duck house only takes about 10 minutes to scoop it all up and spread new bedding. Not bad at all really. It isn't stinky or gross since I stay up on it. I noticed yesterday that they are bedding down in one section and that area was a little more poopy than I want it to be.
It takes longer to clean the chicken coops.....likely because they have to come in and boss me around. :lau

Good morning!
I apparently have good taste in slippers.:)

Good Sunday morning everybody :frow

I’m finding lots of little irks with my coop :(
I cant reach under their roost to clean, so I had to climb in. It’s only 4 ft tall by 3 ft wide, my back still hurts. I want to add more room, but dont know how to expand it. At least not without taking it apart and them not having a coop for the entirety of next summer.

Pics so we can brainstorm......

For reaching those tough spots maybe a child size leaf rake?
This set looks like it could be handy.....
