Official Squatch Watchers

I was walking through the kitchen trying to put dinner together and ended up gathering way too much chicken food, again. So I put together a little something.

I have been kind of distracted, my heart has been palpitating. Went to the ER. Crappy experience there. But I have a monitor which I am going to send back tomorrow. I think it's Afib, but my heart only did it while I was waiting to get into an exam room.
Hope everyone will have a great holiday season.

Good morning everybody :frow

I know not to heat my coop, but I thought it would hold some heat on its own. It doesnt seem to though. Is that an issue? At what point should I put vaseline on their combs and feet? Their run is perpetually wet and all this now melting snow isnt helping. I worry about frostbite. We are running out of hay and I dont know if i can get wood chips but will look into it. Any suggestions though? If “quit worrying” applies, feel free to let me know
The key is to have adequate ventilation. High ammonia levels and humidity are the worst problems causing frostbite.

Let’s hope it comes up empty :fl
Mine ended up being a hiatal hernia.

I hope you are able to get it resolved.

Oh, guess who has banty cochins on her clothesline poopin on her Tide?
Guessing either nobody locked them in OR they're locked out.
My clothesline is on the porch so they're safe, now that iv'e seen them and locked the dang door!
Don't let them out of their run for at least a week, yep totally remember saying those words.
Must have been a waste your breath in Chinese kind of day. :(

Do you think they will make it through the night without a predator finding them?

Some people! :barnie

I still make sure all mine are IN the coop even with strong runs. I just spent several minutes convincing an errant duck that spinning circles in the middle of her small pool was not gonna keep her from having to go to bed.

They're perfectly safe tonight, my front porch isn't critter freindly.
Apparently birds aren't critters.
Im blown away too Henny, you know im serious about lockup.....insane serious!
And two people can't keep up with a whole 4 bantys?
They're older, they dog just fine though so no excuse.
