Have you seen how people are driving these days?

I will be in a full sized all steel old truck. Anyone hitting that will be more damaged than me.

Years ago I had a BIG crew cab dually. It was giant and white. Some idiot flipped a U turn in front of me causing me to have to stomp the breaks HARD. I guess if someone could fail to see that truck they COULD fail to see my blue one.

My goal will be get there, get in, get home all in one piece.

It just seems to get worse and worse every year. My cars have invisibility cloaks. Or so Ive come to think. SO many people turn right out in front of me that it’s turned into a joke really.
It would be nice if people had to take a driving test every couple of years Who am I kidding.

In 2019 I was sitting in a left turn lane at a red light. No arrow so traffic going straight had right of way. The light went green and the idiot behind me (also in the turn lane) punched the gas.
She told me she was looking at her phone. No idea what she told the officer.

Henny, I was in the straight lane, the green arrow to turn came on and the kid behind me did the same thing and said the same thing. We didn't report that one as I was undamaged, but he wasn't... It's amazing what that steel trailer hitch will do to a plastic car.

I was ok. My foster pup (shi-tzu) was thrown violently to the floor hitting the 4 wheel shifter hard enough to force it into neutral. He was bruised but not broken. Now my dogs are buckled in as well, in body harnesses rated for seatbelts.
There was no impact due to good brakes. I did find that anti-locks can indeed lock.

I don't wanna go anywhere.

All dogs are fed, have been run hard in the kennels wootBall addicted dogs) and laundry is started. Maybe the hey can behave for 30 minutes.

Hello everyone.

Last night was crappy. Thing 2 didn't go to sleep until 10:45pm, I didn't get to sleep until almost midnight. Thing 2 woke up at 2:45 but went back to sleep quickly and so did I. Thing 1 however, woke me up at 4:30, 5, 5:45, and 6:10 and woke Thing 2 up the last time he came in. Fortunately, DH got home a little after 6:30 and I was able to get another hour of sleep, but still.

And we decided we wanted another Thing?!?!? What were we thinking?

I'm exaggerating of course but sometimes, I do wonder. Just a bit.

I only have one and Ive been there. Heck, in a way im still there. He stays up all night and is not very quiet about it.
Last year he had a scorpion as a pet. Came into out room yelling help with it on his arm at about 2. Nothing was wrong, I think he just panicked. I think he may have dozed off with it on him.
