Official Squatch Watchers

It is starting off rough. Dog that never refuses food is refusing to eat and blood sugars are crazy.

Working on both.

At least the birds are behaving. 🤗

In a couple minutes I will chop up chicken to mix with the dogs food in hope she eats then.

My kitchen ceiling is bead board with a trim grid. If I get 5 sections painted each day it will take about 7 days to complete. Being bead board and with that grid a big brush is the best approach. I don't trust my spray rig to behave. It is old and prone to sputtering. I got 5 sections done yesterday so onward I go.

Hopefully your dog will eat after you add the chicken.
Sounds like you have a plan and a good start, take your time and it will be done before you know it. Sending 🤗🤗 to you.

Thanks Sue. I needed those hugs.

The dog did eat thank goodness.
I do try to break big projects into chunks so goals are easier to hit. Those little victories within a bigger task help keep me motivated.

I totally agree with you, when we did the house in Virginia it was never ending. There are things we need to do here, but I sure hope we do it in little tasks.

I know how it can get and the need for a simple hug can make all the difference to someone, I can tell you I need hugs pretty much every day 🤗🤗
How is your blood sugar doing?

OMGOODNESS redoing a house is an unbelievable amount of work and $$$$$.
It can be a real stresser on a relationship. This kitchen started as an oversized sad sorry excuse for a space. Literally it had an 18" wall oven and all combined 35" of counter top. Now it has a standard range and many many FEET of counter space. We took it down to floor joists and wall studs. Seriously it would take an hour to type out all the work. Then as we were within a few days of done the wax ring went out on the upstairs toilet. Yeah....zero budget and I had to gut the bathroom too. Talk about draining.
:th I much prefer doing smaller tasks going forward.
I got the blood sugars down to a reasonable level. :wee Now just have to be careful the rest of the day to keep them there.
It turns out my cholesterol med the doctor added put me back a year on my control of the diabetes. I am no longer taking it but it is starting over with gaining control.

I am always happy to hear your continued improvement too. We were all very worried about you for quite some time. 🤗🤗🤗 One day and one step at a time is all we can do.
