Official Squatch Watchers

@apryl29
I started a sweater pattern and 40 rows in hated it. I took it apart and am looking at this pattern to try.

That looks soft & cozy. I've not gone beyond a blanket or scarf. Shaped things are daunting. I remember trying to make baby booties. It was not a success. Did you know theyre supposed to match?

Good morning all

29f now
winter storm warning, rain switching to snow starting around 4pm. 😱
5 to 9 is the current amount predicted with a low of 31...so wet heavy slop :barnie
Oh, i think youre getting what we expect over night. It keeps changing, but now its 4 am in NE Ohio.. depending on where i look we're 4-6 or nothing. Supposed to go through tuesday. Sigh. Best of luck to you!

I hate doing that, but thats why I love knitting and crocheting :lau You can so easily undo it and start over. Not so with sewing, etc. ☹😂
Omg yes! I volunteered to make costumes for our Moana winter ballet that's now a spring ballet... im now a person who has uttered the words "good seam ripper". I shorted a skirt bc i forgot to add room for an elastic band so now it's getting a fun belt. Sewing is hard.

So very true! A boo boo with sewing can mean a lot of waste.
This way I only wasted my time.

I found this and while that kind of yarn is above my "willing yo pay" zone I think any yarn will do as long as you add rows/stitches to compensate.

Oh, thats the kind of yarn you never wash... my oldest bought a scarf that has such thick strands that the fibers are like hair. It sheds bad. It was pretty, but not functional.

I have a " favorite" seam ripper.

The big chunky yarn she uses is not something I would choose but any yarn CAN work as long as a person allows extra rows and stitches. The V will be a bit more challenging with skinnier rows but still doable.

Good morning Apryl 😊 have a great day

I got on my pintrest first time in about three or four months and the amount of people who have grabbed this cowboy chicken is hilarious.
Our kind are a very, very strange breed. :lau

Dog vet trip was challenging as expected.
River weighs 101 pounds and Sable is 67 pounds.
Shots given, wellness checks done and Rivers huge nails on huge paws have been trimmed nicely. I cannot find cutters big enough to do hers. The vet said they use specialized trimmers for those giant dogs. They weren't overgrown but needed a little trim to keep them nice. They are just really big thick nails.

Sable has figured out how to slip her harness. 😳😱

Shopping at Costco was "fun". that store was WAY to crowded. It is done though. No need to go there for at least a month.

River has diggers lol!
Higgins the one we had was a digging machine.
Coupled with that nose omg the friggin holes that guy dug.:)

The kennel has tiger traps all dug and ready to go. 🐯
What is even more amazing is I cannot locate the dirt. Seriously I have hauled in, screened to remove rocks and added at least 3 pick up loads of dirt just to fill those holes.

It is amazing how fast they can dig a new hole in hard clay.

Maybe they're eating it :lau Thankfully ours doesnt dig except once in a while when she starts scratching/digging at the carpet for a reason only she knows.

🤢🤮
I'm not sure what "sauce" they put on it. Looked like blue gravy. Did they add cheese? And who doesn't drain the pasta? They scooped it out dribbling onto the plate? Someone should check on those people. They are NOT ok.

Kraft did something like this for SpongeBob or the Ghostbusters. It was green cheese sauce. Kids were so excited till it was made. Then no one would eat it.

What im dealing with.
Doughnuts and butts, all day long.:th
I laughed so hard at this. She is such a lovable goof. There is aways that one kid in the bunch.

As for a Homer nest I wonder if a piece of your clothes would work. Have you seen the cat tents made from old t-shirts? I'm picturing something similar but chicken safe. Maybe something with faux wool inside. Or a feather duster hung from the top so she thinks she's under a butt.

Jerry is growing up to be quite the odd looking dude.
He's still a good boy, much less of a menace now that everybody is getting on the same page hormonally.
He still tries for the mature ladies though especially Dutch and Lulu.

He's a very handsome fellow! But his comb is a little odd? Or is that just me?

I have stories to tell but they will have to wait. Remind me if you don't hear from me.
