Good morning everyone. :frow

I got 8 eggs from the group of 8 pullets yesterday.

Amie has been being a better chicken.
Part of me wonders if she was following the others into the box because a few are overly exuberant in kicking things around. They may have been cracking the eggs and Amie was clever enough to find that was the reason.

Good morning all. ☁️
50f today and rained enough last night to make the poultry yard greasy.

The woman I got Noah from texted back and offer to pay for his final expenses. I was very surprised, I didn't pay anything for him and he was bathed and vet checked before I got him. So I knew he had health issues and wouldn't last long. I thought that was sweet of her. I thanked her and declined.

I am glad Noah had you caring for him in his final months. So many people wouldn't be willing to take that kind of responsibility on.

:hugs

Yeah I thought I was nuts taking him  ... but I had room and couldn't see him living his final days in a shelter. He was a good companion for the winter.
