Official Squatch Watchers

Good morning everyone. Kids are eating breakfast, sort of, then it's schooling. I never thought at my age, I would be looking forward to getting out of school on weekends.

I had a bit of trouble with several of the programs loading yesterday. The kids got a bit of a short day. Dd had a zoom conference with some of the kids' teachers yesterday evening. The school was updating the system. They've had to enroll way more kids this year than they've been used to. Enough so, that the system crashed multiple times. The kept having to add servers, rinse repeat. This meant even more delays getting the kids registered. We're 3 weeks into the school year, and they're still enrolling kids, adding servers, etc.

Due to so many being delayed this long getting in, there was a huge problem, because of this 3 week gap. Yesterday, they did somewhat of a reset. All the kids that have been attending from the start, are to review their work, while the others are being given a chance to catch up. Of course, they didn't wait until after hours to do the update. Instead, they did it in the middle of the school day, when kids were still working on their studies, and assignments. Did they notify anyone as to what was going on? Of course NOT. Great planning, and timing (sarcasm).

Anyway, I had a very good birthday this year.
:frow Good morning Clue and a belated Happy Birthday!🎂🥳 Have a great day. Sounds like their IT department isn't quite up to the challenge. They need a good cloud engineer and architect to help them sort it out... But the teachers would have a fit as they make 3-4 times what the teachers do.

Question for anyone who may have experience.

I‘ve mentioned the roof. I’ve heard before that you can file an insurance claim due to storm damage. It will cost the deductible. My question is will my monthly payment go up?
Of course roof guy says it won’t. But if I call my insurance they will know I’m thinking of filing.
So has anyone done this? Experience? Thoughts?

Good morning!
Got everyone fed except Apryl she's still temporarily insane so I'll boot her out after everyone else decides to actually leave the coop.
If I don't she'll fight anyone within pecking distance, girl is vicious.😂

Miss you too!
You've got to make those dolla bills though.😋

There's DOLLARS??? Feels like chump change when I do the math. 🤔 As long as it's printed/stamped on both sides all is well I guess.

My understanding is no the payment should not increase.
Mine was out of pocket since the roof wasn't actually leaking or missing a bunch of shingles and we had not had a recent big hail storm. I didn't bother to ask the insurance.
Actually..... After my roof was done I took my papers down to them and my insurance went DOWN. Not much but yes down a bit.

Your agent should be willing to answer every question and it should not affect you in any way for asking.

Never heard the song "Polk salad Annie"?
It's a tall plant that has purple berries. It's all poisonous, but if you boil the leaves in several changes of water it's edible..

Didn’t you know thats how things work? 🤣 For the last several years ours would do major updates during the week school started, causing things to crash. This year they rolled out an entire new website, half finished, with zero announcements. I had given about a dozen parents our web address that day. Strangely none of them called to complain and eventually got their stuff done. 🤷🏻‍♀️

🥳Happy belated Birthday Clue! 💐
