And I found a 2 year old white hen with her neck picked clean. 😱 Thinking this was a hawk. Rigor was just setting in. I think she's from the same coop. This coop has plenty of hens but.... Another good hen. So disgusted I didn't even see if the legs were good. :rant She was out in the sun anyway.
I used to like watching the raptors. Good thing I have way too many birds. I was thinking I need to cut down. How's that for making lemonade lol

It has been an interesting couple of days. To say the least. I was ripped a new one for being “sarcastic” by a parent who I swear just wanted to yell. After she was done yelling, I apologized of course. I can see where she was coming from in misunderstanding what I said but her over reaction was ridiculous. There is no way of telling the story, even just a small snippet like I did here, without me sounding like Im defending myself in an adverse way or refusing to take responsibility for my part.
That bugs me the most. I need to get her out of my head :he

I could not be in teaching. My cousin was a teacher and retired as soon as she could. I feel for you.

I had very few predator losses until June 2020, been a problem since then. Took 5 yrs before the predators noticed the birds I guess.

Im not a teacher. Im a secretary in a building with no kids. I really couldnt be a teacher either. Or work in a building with kids. They deal with this crap several times a week/day. I just dont get it.

A mystery person gave me a $1,000,000 chocolate bar with a nice note 😊. I have awesome coworkers! I cant think of any other job where Ive been able to say that.

Chiropractor has been going well and am restarting the dreaded carpet work 😂. I moved the section of the sofa where hubs usually sits and WOW! so much crap :eek: I was truly surprised.
Also found our electric fireplace heater with its glass completely shattered in the downstairs bathroom. No one knows anything about it of course. That took nearly an hour to clean up. I somehow managed to break my dust broom trying to get the pieces out from under the drywall 🤷🏻‍♀️ I probably should've used the big broom instead.
Okay, I need to quit stalling and continue on the floor.
