Good morning everyone. :frow

Work is crazy. I am going to be pulling an extra 14 hours a week until further notice. At least the OT comes with $$$.
Money is nice but it gets old

Good morning all, was 31 an hour ago and 32 now, sunrise is an hour away. Supposed to be a wintery mix 9 to 5Pm

Good morning everybody :frow

Ive hit a roadblock with the kitchen. I just cant make up my mind what to start on. The wallpaper, the cabinet doors, the cabinets? I know I need to just start something but
Its just easier to sit here being undecided.
I know what the main blockage with the cabinets is, the color. We finally decided on Evening in Paris (darkish medium purple) and Roman Plaster (off white, cream). They match the other colors in the house and look good together but which one should the walls be? The trim is white and I would like that to be the same in the kitchen. Natural wood was sadly not an option, which is why we had to choose colors. I was thinking the main wall and cabinets purple and the rest off white? I have commitment issues :lau

Good morning Fishy 😊 picking colors is not fun, I had issues with the house in Virginia and I wasn't even staying there

:frow Good morning Fishy, have a great day

Good morning folks!

I'm felling a good deal better, but I'm still very much "off". Even though its been a week since the worst of the symptoms faded, all the nerves on the left side of my face/head/neck are all super sensitive, particularly to touch. I'm still fairly light/noise/movement sensitive. My sister gave me a pretty good description, its like a migraine in my skin. I tried driving on Wednesday last week to do some last minute Christmas shopping and that didn't go well and had me down all day Thursday. Thankfully, I had DH come with me so he was able to drive home.

I'm back at work and have the office lights off and the computers turned to night mode so I don't have to wear the broken pair of blue light blocking glasses I have. Hopefully I start feeling a lot better soon. This really sucks. Not as bad as full blown shingles, but I've never had a nerve irritation issue last like this.

I'm going to try being online more often. I realized that I used to check BYC multiple times a day on my computer but I started playing games and doing other stuff rather than checking BYC.

Oh, cute Thing 1 story.

A little while ago, my MIL as here doing story time with the boys, and she sent Thing 1 to tell me that some of the guineas were out (we keep them confined this time of year since they become wildlife snacks in the winter). We have 10 and 4 got out. I fixed the pen and tried herding the 6 in the pen into their night box so I could prop the pen up and try to herd the 4 loose guineas into the pen without freeing the 6 contained guineas. But they weren't having that, so I just contented myself with fixing the pen. We'll find a way to get the other 4 later. I came inside and Thing 1 said; "We need to set a trap with some blueberries and catch the guineas with a rope." I then responded, "No, we aren't playing Coyote and Roadrunner with the guineas." DH recently bought a set of Loony Tunes DVDs and the boys really like Roadrunner and Coyote as well as Sylvester and Tweety.
