Good morning folks :frow

Good morning all y'all.

Taking today off work. Looks like a bit warmer so coop cleaning on the list as is housework and a shopping trip.

I started a quilt with some random extra material I had. I will post pics when I get enough done to have something to show. It's a very easy and quick pattern so that is actually really refreshing. So far I am liking it.

Stay warm. I saw Mo will be super cold there. Hoping for sunshine for you.
:frow Good morning Henny, have a great day

Good morning Mo 😊
Dd #1 was hit with a fairly mild case of shingles. She began taking L-Lysine, and said it helped her quite a bit. I know L-Lysine is good for canker sores (herpes simplex virus), but never thought about it for shingles (chicken pox virus), but she got relief quickly. I guess it helps with that type virus too.
Good morning Clue 😊 so glad she is getting relief

Good afternoon everyone,

Guess what? More sickness. Thing 1 has chicken pox. I tried to keep the boys from touching my face when I had shingles, apparently, it wasn't completely successful. He seems pretty normal energy wise, but is more cuddly than normal, and itchy. Thing 2 and the Milk Drinker aren't showing any signs at this point. I really thought they would be the ones to catch it first, since I'm still nursing them and they are close to me more often. I'm hoping they miss out on it because I'm still nursing them. Logistically speaking, They've been getting antibodies for the virus since I first broke out in shingles. So, I can hope.

Oh no! When it rains it pours. Your theory makes sense about the youngest two. Honestly, i had to reread your post a bit because I never heard of anyone catching chickenpox from shingles. Its always the other way around 😂
