Hi all 🌞
Just got back from a used pumpkin and bales run...
So far a dz carved, a dz mico, a dz nice large and 4 small bales. Need a few more bales for around one of the coops.
Some people said after Thanksgiving, so hopefully I can get enough. I have some from last year if I don't get enough. Last year I picked up a bumper crop LOL

Morning all

Owl is back I think.
A cockerel that was raised by a turkey stayed out last night. He was a Mama's boy, but couldn't get in the tree with mom. Sometimes he is in the coop with his brother and sometimes I have to chase him off the top of the coop. I was a little late for lockup and didn't look for him.
I found him neckless and almost stiff this morning. The strange for an owl was the.wound area was in a corner of a tree and a building on the ground. Not sure if an owl flipped him in the corner or a weasel stuffed it there. No hole for the weasel to go, so it would have to go up a tree. I will skin later and look for other wounds.

It was in the 30s last night so I threw him in the refrigerator.
He wasn't a keeper. I was going to wait until he got a little bigger to harvest.

Squirrel was in the hood again. I moved it last time over by the pickup. But I think a different one found it... because the trap by where it was had 2.

I used walnuts as bait

I shook the bugger and sprayed repellent on him in the hood.
Moved the car back where it was, by the box trap, and put glue and snap trap on the engine....tied off
There at least 2 more.
