Good morning everyone. It got down in the low 40's and was somewhat breezy, in the wee hours. I was concerned about our lone duck getting too cold. Yes, she can go into her duck house at any time, which protects her from the breezes. I have a heating pad under a corner of her duck house. I turned it on low, to knock the chill off the floor. She doesn't like to go into her duck house anymore. Finally, I decided that if she got cold enough, she'd retreat into it. I got up a 5 am, to see the stupid duck swimming in the dang pool. That does it! I'm not going to waste another minute being concerned about her getting too cold.

LOL that's cold for you I guess . I think the duck will be fine so long as there's open water.
People north of me say I don't get cold weather. Just depends on what is normal for you.

Big storm coming Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Somewhere between 6 and 26 inch currently predicted, subject to change. Then highs near 0.
