Sad morning
I got up late, half hour after sunrise, and found blood, feathers and beard of my favorite tom..... through the poultry yard, up against fence and beard/feathers other side of fence. I'm assuming coyote.
I thought about giving him a name yesterday. Kiss of death, even thinking about naming a bird
He was raised by a chicken and preferred the company of chicken. He was 2 and a gentle soul. The jakes kept coming over and beating him up. At first I thought that's what happened, until I seen his beard and too much blood outside of the poultry yard.... and the jakes inside without any blood on them.

Caught a yearling male coon about 500 ft away. He was about a third of the weight of the tom, so he would have had to have help to be the culprit.

Not sure yet but prednisone MAY be working? Sigh! This is getting old. Im pretty convinced i had covid back in march. Nothing else really makes any sense. And i figured out i messed up my covid test. Sick people really shouldn't be allowed to self test! Going on month 3 of this BS. Also getting an mri of the old noggin. Probably a good idea :lau
Lots of knocks and bangs. Pretty sure i hear rattling up there.
