Official Squatch Watchers

This is brilliant!!!! But, it might have to be a crock that has a KEEP WARM setting, as even low can get quite hot.

PS. The crazy chick we were discussing last night posted again like 4 minutes after you went to bed... and, take note, she has posted AGAIN this morning!

What post????? Do I need to know????

Mayhem at my house! Holy crap.

My AC cockerel, Lafayette, looked like he was possibly getting a teeny bit of frostbite on his giant, fleshy, BBC. So I grabbed him (he's very shy and timid) out of the run and brought him inside to oil him up, lol.

I had him on my lap in the living room and was lubing him down with Vaseline. Comb, wattles. He seemed to be liking it. (My hubby was giving me a "WTF?!" look, but I am used to it, and mostly ignore him.) Then, since he was being so good, I rewarded him with some mealworms.

That's when all hell broke loose!

He hopped out of my lap and flapped onto the coffee table, knocking my (full) coffee mug everywhere. All over my chicken books, magazines, journals, floor, DH's tablet, everywhere. What a freaking mess!

After I got it all cleaned up and he laid a giant turd on the floor (Lafayette--not hubby), I went out to return him to his ladies, and as I gave them all mealworms, they all attacked my hands. Cuz I actually left the house a couple days ago and got a sparkly red gel manicure, and I guess to a chicken, that is THE color they like the best, lol! They pecked my fingers like they were the ripest strawberries ever. Little peckerheads!

And on that note, I am going to go food shopping for tonight. :)
Made me laugh, Momma! Sounds like something that would happen to me !
