Welp, the TATERholes in the incubator, the ones who pecked open an egg WAY to soon, has pecked the baby so much they pulled its insides out. Jeebus, pray I can cull this baby chick......

well, I guess I'm a softy... I have 3 birds in the hospital in the garage right now. I told the oldest pullet last night that after a coat of blu-kote she's going to the pasture tonight. Went out to feed her, apply blu-kote and move her to pasture and there she stood over a fresh laid egg just chatting away. So new deal... I'll let her stay in the garage as long as she gives me an egg a day.

like i can talk.. I have a labor day pullet in a parrot cage in the living room since a hawk attack oct 26th.. today she started to act normal, like I can dump her out in - 15 weather
