



HUGE AMAZON RANT



I buy a billion things through Amazon all year. We've had Prime membership since 2006 I believe... so 11 years as a customer. We probably return about 1% of what we've bought, but that's because something came broken or it really REALLY sucked.
Now, in October, we purchased an incubator. It *worked* for 24 hours, and then the turner stopped working. It was a 3rd party purchase, but still bought THROUGH Amazon. We returned it almost 2 months ago. No contact from the seller at all on our refund. I went into a chat with Amazon on 1 December. CS said they had processed my return, refund issued, etc. Great. No problem. Been waiting. And waiting .... did I mention, waiting? Checked ALL of our cards to see where the refund was... nothing.
Last night, we opened the box that has the aquarium heater in it (for the chickies water dishes). Be TATERED, not only was the heater broken, but it was a RETURN... with a NOTE INSIDE from the person who returned in!!!! OMG seriously?!?!? We pay for a NEW heater and received a used, BROKEN one... jeeBUS.
So, I just spent the better part of 2 hours with CS AGAIN...... where they issued a small, $10 credit for the *problem* with the heater.... I try to talk to them about the NON refund from the incubator, and THAT CS person says not to worry, I'll get the refund.... right, like the CS person who said they already issued it A MONTH AGO.....
I AM TATERING TATERED TATERED UP THE TATERED TATER RIGHT NOW!!!!
