Speaking of gross, nasty eggs, lol....I can't even show these beauties to my hubby. He is getting grossed out to the point where he almost can't eat even eggs any more!

He pretty much stopped eating chicken (unless it's in parmigiana form, which is a rectangle of meat slathered with cheese and sauce, and thereby unidentfiable)since I got the chooks (I'm vegetarian, he is not). He used to love chicken. I would cook it for him, doesn't bother me!

We went out for happy hour last night. He really wanted to get buffalo wings, but can't bring himself to eat them any more, because they look too...chickeny, lol. I was all like "come on, just get them" but he won't. If I show him one more gross egg or balut picture, I will be eating my eggs-over-medium-and-taters alone, lol!!!

I love the man, but he's a bit of a weinie.

When I was a teen we had chickens and I didn't eat chickens for years.. partially b/c my parents had some of our chickens processed.. and partially b/c every time I would cook anything I never got any of it. I thought my kids might stop eating chicken, or at least chicken off the bones but nope. I actually have a pic of my tiny human sitting outside eating chicken while watching her chickens.
The other pic was pretty gross. The double shell egg didn't bother me, & I saw @Redhead Rae's eggtopsies and that didn't bother me either, but all the blood in that bowl was pretty shocking.

The poor little guy has so much phlegm that it is making him throw up. I'm keeping an eye out for dehydration and infection. I just hope he gets over this soon. This cough started on Sunday.

Today marks my one year anniversary of joining BYC. YAY!
