How's her comb now? I bought some 'Green Goo' from TSC last night and slapped it on my boys. Not sure how good it is, but it's a first aid thing so hopefully it will help w/ some of the bad spots and help the frost bite. Freakin' expensive, but doesn't smell bad. When I was putting it on I noticed that the previously white spots on Odin's comb were gone so hopefully there wasn't a ton of damage.

I have to lock up the dogs and then bring her in to get a good look. She was acting fine yesterday, but that sucker was mottled all the way throughout, like a person's blue lips or feet when they're gonna kick (use to do hospice). It didn't look like the classic frostbite pictures I've seen--more like circulation shutdown. Didn't get much response on the emergency boards, so just using my best veterinary judgement.

Interesting. Keep us posted. I've had 1 who's pea comb got darker & lost a lot of her red color when she stopped laying (molt). She recently started laying again an her comb is plumper (I hate that word) and has some color back. The ones who had frost bite either turned black, kind of like a gross scab or white and bloated looking, but you'd probably know way more about any of that than I would.
