I will say a prayer for both of you. Pneumonia is so easy to develop when taking chemo treatments. Hopefully some antibiotics and IV fluids will help him feel better.

He's had it before He has COPD, emphazima, in the past he had TB. He's a fighter and a survivor

If they are taking the peg tube out, sounds like he is eating well?

No not till he can pass a swallow test don't know when that will be, hopefully soon

@MrsMistyReal they won’t sedate him for surgery to remove the peg tube, too risky with pneumonia. Once his pneumonia is cleared, then he will go back to have the peg tube removed. Typically peg tubes are removed at the bedside, but they may be doing different for your sweet husband.

Henny, have you tried putting the new bed on the couch and putting her in it? If she's a sound enough sleeper, you could probably scootch her in it, especially if she's asleep on a blanket.
