I'm back home peeps! :frowGood morning!
Welcome Mr. Eel.
Sassy -you crack me up with your hidden chicks.
And Capricorn farm -I loved reading your building thread.

I didn't see any chickens except this pretty one which
I had to buy.

I did see lots of cows and sheep and mountains and had to stop a few times just to breathe the air and miss living there.

Came home hoarse from talking to my son the whole way home.
Have to pick up my daughter from the airport tomorrow then take the other one to the oral surgeon to have her wisdom teeth pulled.
It will be nice (and loud and crazy) to have all the kids at home for a bunch of days!

Pray that my son's dog doesn't kill any chickens this week. They will be on lockdown in their run until late afternoon, then they can free range until their bedtime.
During this time the dog will be on lockdown in the house.
And I gave my son a lecture about "the personaltater" not being allowed outside alone and how fast a determined dog could possibly dig under a run. Don't want to test our predator proofing.
But most importantly,
Don't want to set the dog up for a failure none of us would ever forget and for which my son would always feel guilty.

I am truly grateful to have been blessed with your friendship.
Thank you. :hugs

Oh and good morning everyone!

My back is feeling much better today. A hot epsom salt bath works wonders!

Speaking of shaving heads, I gave my son is first haircut last week. He was starting to look like he had something between a mullet and a rat tail. I just trimmed up the back. It looked "ok" but I didn't have hair cutting scissors so he had some lines on the back of his head. Well, I bought hair cutting scissors and I decided to try to "fix" his hair cut. I only made it worse and he ended up looking like he had a bowl cut. I had to break out the clippers and give him a high and tight buzzcut like I give my husband. My baby doesn't have his baby locks anymore.:hitHe is fascinated by his peach fuzz though and keeps rubbing his head.
