My phone is about to die. This lady has a huge hole in the wrong spot...if you look close you cankinda see it. I'm debating on whether I should tell her. I'm not sure I can with a straight face. I'm about to pee myself just typing this. View attachment 1191853

Can't believe a leghorn cross could lay such a dark egg!

She would probably only be 1/4 leghorn. The rooster I had at the time was half leghorn half mystery chicken. Mama was most likely one of my Dominique or Dom crosses. So the leghorn could have been half Maran or Welsummer.

This is what the rooster looked like. He wasn’t pure leghorn because he had a couple black feathers on his back.

I'm like a cheating spouse. As soon as he leaves the room, I am quietly cracking open my laptop to check and see if there are any new posts. And then when he comes in here, I quietly slam it shut. Sometimes he catches me, with a guilty look on my face, like the dogs look when I catch them eating tissues.
