Tell me is it worth eating
A bird that bothers you
Because i have this quail who
Is incredibly aggressive
She pecks me won't lay eggs
And kills every bird she's with
She hisses and snarls too
Which is odd for a bird

Quail soup..... and I doubt many people on this thread would disagree.

I always plant spring bulbs in fall! When do most folks plant them? I am planting 2 more types of daffodils and tulips. Waiting for the slack workers to finish pouring concrete in the post holes of the porch. Sigh. So sick of waiting for them to get things done. Like a never ending story...

Good day today. My SIL wants me to go out shopping with her, but I just don’t want to. I usually go with my BFF every Thursday evening, because she always has a huge list and is on a mission. Plus, it is fun spending time with her. I have the chicks and Maddie (rescue dog), so maybe next year, or not. Thr kids are older and I just don’t feel like running ragged.

My mac n cheese and 3 desserts turned out fabulous! I was over the top thrilled with my cheesecake and blueberry compote. To. Die. For.

We northern folk have to plant the spring bloomers in the fall if we want flowers next spring. They need the cool earth to stay dormant til spring. If we plant them in spring before the rains hit they rot. After the rains is to late as the sun dries them up to fast to bloom.

They need to be up and growing when we get spring rain to avoid the rot.
