I have 3/4s of one.. No idea how it worked as it came with the house. It's missing the bottom.1/4...

Well, obviously I'm incompetent when it comes to pig bedding.:lau Bacon has pushed all the straw out of the house and is taking it along with sticks and grass back in one mouth full at a time. I asked her if I did it wrong and I think she answered in the affirmative.:gig

Well in the process of doing her house work, she's also tilling and fertilizing my future herb garden. Also removing all the invasive weeds and vines. They are good little workers. In spring I'll have them till the deep litter in my winter housing... And of course they'll love finding the little morsels of corn buried in the bedding.

Nope, i did mention at hubs thanksgiving work thingy/dinner i was needing a new broom just jaw flapping with a bunch of other women. I don't know how the decorative cinnamon thing got started. I still don't have a decent broom lol!:lau
That is weird. Did you mention you like the smell of cinnamon?

Back from the library, books are heavy!.Building muscles one book at a time.
Off to stain the other side of the handrails.
What is everyone up to? It is so nice out you don't even need a coat here!:wee
I'm working inside today. At least I'm getting paid.

I need to go out and gather eggs soon.

I also need to fire my incubators back up. I decided to wait until I got back from thanksgiving before starting eggs.

I also got a new computer in the mail and the stupid thing doesn't work. I need to reinstall windows on it, and generally waste my time tinkering with something that was supposed to work out of the box.

Anybody ever tried this high capacity feeder by Miller? View attachment 1196983
I have one for the dog... same just missing the grate/screen.. supposed to be outdoors and yes it gets full of water.. tried it for grit in the coop.. they didn't seem to like it.

What???? Rat babies or turtle babies snuggling??? We had a red earred slider and all I could think about was a wet rat jumping out. I am assuming the turtle was not aquatic.

She has both but it was the tortoise. The babies were the rat's. He now has a much more secure cover on his tank.

I'll be getting tortoise babies later. A friend has one in an outside habitat and every year it seems her boyfriend (turtles) shows up and she's overrun with babies a while later.

Sounds like turtle paradise to me.
