Hello all you lovely, crazy, chicken people!

I got my new computer set up! YAY!!!!!!!

There were some people complaining about how bad the screen resolution is, but it is worlds better than my 5.5 year old laptop. I'm working on getting some of my personal files transferred from my old computer to my new one. I think I might wipe my old machine and use it as a backup.

Great, I just got the blue screen of death on my old machine. Oh, it is rebooting now. So it isn't dead, just dying, but it is being a pain about transferring my pictures and such.

I hate that process. I resorted to buying a HDD adapter. I fire up the new machine, connect the adapter and put in the old computer's drive. Then I'm only dependent upon one OS.

Whatever is in my ceiling is scampering again! I think tomorrow calls for cutting a hole in my ceiling and setting traps up there. I bought a squirrel trap, but it needs hardware cloth in case they are small scamperers. Every danged thing needs HWC! Good thing i stocked up when it was on sale !

I need to do one of these things you guys. I just got a new laptap. How do you get the data transferred? And how much does it cost? I figured Geek Squad is expensive, isn't there some program or something where you can transfer the original data? (not understanding you @rjohns39)
