Happy Holidays to everyone!

I haven't been able to do anything "pretty" crafty since I've had my son. The only "crafty" thing I've done was build chicken coops, that counts, right?

I love sewing and crocheting. Here are some crafts I've done in the past.

This a quilted purse I made for my grandmother.

This is a Queen Anne's Lace patterned scarf I crocheted for myself. I was just getting started when I took this picture, but you can see how it looks.

This is a doily.

This is one of 3 bed sized afghans I've made.

This isn't a finished picture, but I made it overlong and I had to unravel about 4 ft of work because it touched the floor on both sides of the bed (the bed top is nearly 3 ft off the ground).

This is a quilted dressage saddle pad I made for my sister out of duck cloth. It has been around for maybe 8 years and is still in pretty good condition.

Oy. We sing a song to Titania(the fairy queen) at one point, and yesterda I got promoted to help sing the solo part with two other fairies, cuz we're having volume issues and I'm the most enthusiastic singer, if not the prettiest. Thing is, I don't know the words nor the tune, so I'm frantically trying to memorize it by tomorrow.

Just keep practicing it and cross checking to make sure you haven't made any adjustments and you'll be fine.:old

Those look awesome and yes coops count.:thumbsup

For all: I read a heart warming story this morning and thought I'd share. It's about an FFA Barn that burnt down. The tragedy isn't heart warming, but what happened after sure was.:love

Thanks my friends! I am very excited....we are so short-staffed where I currently work, that every day I practice I kinda put my license in jeopardy (not to mention the safety and welfare of my patients!)

Also, it would be nice to get an actual lunch and/or bathroom break. So there is that. :)
I remember those days!! Good luck!! You call tell them you online chicken group named the Squatch Watchers can give references. On second thought, you may want to leave all that out!
