I'm hitting the hay as well. I'll just leave you with this little nugget that I spent most of the evening working on. This is the floor plan for my cattle-panel roof chicken coop. I'll be creating a thread with more detail later, but I am SOOO pleased with how this is looking I just had to share. I need to get the two more views (the short wall and the long wall) cobbled together before I can create the post. I think this was the hardest part of the plan to do.

So it is not a hoop coop?

Well with 16 foot cattle panels my hoop coop was 8 feet wide. Are you having flat panels? Your plan looks huge!
No, the "hoop roof" will be 12 or 14 ft wide. This is what a cattle panel arch looks like at different spans. The plans will make more sense when I get the short wall mocked up.

Darn, I finally get a chance to sit down and be all social, and the only one still up is Cappy the Night Owl, lol.

We're supposed to get down in the low 30's tonight, and low 50's tomorrow. I'm still doing most of my running around with my jacket in my hand, wearing a short sleeved shirt. But there again, we're also still getting roughly 10-12 eggs per week, too (gosh darn indoor chickens :lau How dare they be such good layers, never broody, so sweet and love to cuddle :gig)
