I have mine sitting on a square cement slab and the cord is encased with some sort of flexible metal tubing.

If y'all are paranoid, wrap the cord and plugs in aluminum foil or foil tape even if gets hot the heat won't transfer.

I'm a sucker, broke down and bought the ladies and gentleman some more superworms for Christmas. They just liked them so much and the bug population is pretty thin right now. The only drawback is that they block the back steps for days after those worms, i have a heck of a time getting out without getting mobbed.

We just got some superworms too. They loved them!.... but apperently not enought to stay off the front porch.

I was drinking... Superworms are big mealworm looking worms they turn into a big black beetle. And I'm not 100 percent but it kind of feels like they bite.
