My dog.
He's so sweet.
But he's getting old-ish.
And gets me up either once each night to go out between 3 and 3:15 am like clockwork ,or sometimes he makes it to just before the crack of dawn.
Last night he slept all night and didn't wake me til 4:55 which wasn't bad but then I could go back to sleep so I read some news, worked on a few pages of a story, then I was cold so I made coffee and got on here....
I don't mind him waking me! It's sure better than cleaning up a puddle !
I'm just not crazy about it when the weather is cold or yucky.
DH is away on a business thing so I don't sleep great anyway when he's not here and tend to leave the tv on all night quietly.
If I lock the cat out of the bedroom he jiggles the knob and yells moooom! (His meow sounds exactly like the word mom.) Until he finally breaks in.
If I let him stay in from the start he'll snuggle up like the sweetest little ball of orange cuteness.... just til I'm falling into a good sleep then he'll get up and do a million things to bug me!
Knock my glasses on the floor.
Try to knock the lamp over.
Stand on the dresser and amuse himself by swinging a painting in a heavy frame back and forth!
It's almost the way "milk-drinkers" rip to shreds any chance for R.E.M. sleep you ever have. Lol. Except not as adorable.

Right now he's wreaking havoc in the kitchen knocking things off the counter.
I heard a mixing bowl.
The pepper grinder, I'm pretty sure
Now he's working on a stack of mail!!!!!!
I left a few things on the drying mat instead of putting them away.
I know this because now he's getting those cups off there too.
I wish I could teach him to put stuff away if it bothers him so much!

Im going in there to pick everything up, then I think he's going to spend the night in the dog's crate so I can actually sleep for a few consecutive hours.
I'm going to say goodnight friends.

Good night Stacey! Our cats must be related! Mine will settle down if i give them canned food at bedtime. But then they have smelly farts. Not sure which is worse!

I'm not a cat friendly guy because of those things plus I don't like cleaning up poop. Besides they are a-holes

Some cats are nice! Kiss is a wonderful little guy. Every pet has poop to deal with at some point if indoors. Plus they have self cleaning litter boxes now. Cats are more loyal than dogs, dogs will love on anyone if they are that type. Cats just like their special people mostly.
