Official Squatch Watchers

Thank you! I think so too! )

I only bring them in on the rare moments when I'm home and my hubby isn't, cuz he gets pissed when I do that. They do poop on the floor (and me, occasionally) but I udt clean it up and sanitize with a wipe. So far I've had my 3 Silkies in here today and now I am snuggling Flower, my sweet little MFD. I love when I can do this!

I soooooo want to give my Grand Daughters a silkie, but their county requires a $450 license to have chickens. :barnie

Ooooh pics of Flower please

I know yall were talking about water heaters i came across this on Pinterest did know if it would work but could ve worth a try.....
It doesnt really get cold enough here to test but i know most of you do...

That's neat. I'll have to give it a try. R2elk has written an article on his manure defroster, which is also really cool.

One would think so but he is creepy weird now.
He even lied to the city counsel saying hubby is unloading junk cars here.
For the record..... We have a 2013 Honda, 2014 Prius, 2000 Monte Carlo (80,000 miles and never wrecked) and my old truck that sit outside. The truck is the only old ugly thing. Have had that truck 10 years. Motorcycles are in the garage.

His vehicle was towed by the company hubby worked for at the time. The guy had gone head on with as bridge support on the interstate.

Last summer I saw him chasing bunnies with a 6' metal pipe. Then one ends up hiding in my flower bed with a compound fracture. Little gimpy is still here and healed.

I don't know.......I just wish we could move to the sticks.
Wow. That poor bunny.. Obviously he got some brain damage in that accident. We had a guy who kept calling zoning on my parents for running a car dealership at their house when we were kids. Um, 4 kids, all driving. Plus my parent's vehicles. My dad and oldest brother each had a race car, my dad had a plow truck and a project car. Easily had a dozen cars in the drive on any given day... People are just crazy.

I could definitely try something clear, I'm worried about him making a new hole trying to get to the old hole. I've already had to remove the big jingle bells off the back door because of him he'd pick them up and drop them so for a couple hours all i heard was blam! Jingle, jingle, jingle blam! Jingle! It was just not good. They're shiny so i gave him a pass, the globe is not shiny.:)
I think you're right... he just hates xmas.

Well, since you asked....just snapped these.

Holy wow, how do they justify $450 fee? It's not a freakin' mountain lion. Sounds like someone didn't like chickens so they figured they'd make some $$ off anyone who REALLY wanted one. Actually, it sounds more like someone on council had a neighbor they hated who had chickens and did it out of spite.

I do NOT get how people can be cruel to animals. People like that make me sick....wish we could do unto them what they do!!!!! Ugh, Thank the gods I have good neighbors who are all animal people. Piney as h*ll, but good people!

So beautiful!

Thank you. :) She's got a personality to match, too, so incredibly sweet. I was just rubbing her little feather head and comb, and she fell asleep in my lap. Can't. Stand. The. Cuteness!

That is insane! $450 just to have a chicken?!! Silkies shouldn't count, they're almost too mammal-like and alien to count as a chicken, IMO!

State passed a law, prohibiting counties from prohibiting keeping poultry. License used to be $5, until a bunch of folks from Maryland and DC moved into the area. Now they claim the fee is for someone to come out and inspect your setup. Ton's of HOAs in that area now that prohibit poultry "ownership." So a lady not far from Cap started a poultry "rental" business.

Aww so pretty! She's got her feet on the coffee table lol! My hubs would turn three shades of red over that if he knew that is....:lau

Yeah well, mine does too, he's a total germaphobe!!! I am not kidding, he has to sanitize all the time, any time we go out to a restaurant after looking at the menu, etc. Like I have to wrap the ketchup bottle with a napkin to pour him some ketchup, lol. He gets totally grossed out when I bring the chickens inside!

He is like OCD about germs. When I first met him, he would do this crazy-assed thing that would drive me insane, if we went out and didn't have sanitizer. I can't even say it, it is that bizarre....

Yeah, but I keep sending him these pictures, lol!

He just texted GET THOSE CHICKENS OUT!!!

lol. :lau To which I say: Yeah, whatever. What time do you get home today?!!!

SO glad I could spend my mental health day with you guys, and my girls! lol!

You hussy, don't you leave me hanging talking about weird behavior.;)
