Official Squatch Watchers

Well I guess I better bathe these beasts. I got all the furniture moved so when they do the crazy after bath run around nothing gets broken.

Having two 100+ pound dogs is sometimes a challenge.
I dry my ACD as best I can then lay towels on the floor. She runs around all crazy for a few then lays on the towels and drys herself. Squirming and rolling and pushing herself along. Works better then trying to wrestle her in a towel trying to dry her.

One last entry and I am moving on. I knew something was amiss since she abruptly stopped laying, and then kept going to the box. I also knew, it was normal for chickens to stop laying in the winter. I feel like a big loser for not checking her and doing something sooner. In my gut, I knew something was probably going on, but just decided to watch her. Anyway, I feel a little guilty and it is also a learning experience. Anyway, I just needed to put that out there so I can move on.

I pretty much do the same. Mine get a comforter on the couch and another on the floor. They run crazy for about 15 minutes then settle down.
They both decided to go out for a bit before the bath.
Kitty won't be happy when they start running about. She is sleeping on the sofa.

Sassy, I know it likely doesn't help but there really was nothing you could do. Even if you found it sooner. They are masters at hiding things that are not right.
:hugs don't beat yourself up.

I wish I could bathe mine and have clean babies. One of mine swims in the pond daily. What are yours? I have an English Mastiff and a French Mastiff

Don't blame yourself Sassy, probably not much could be done even by a vet. Crummy stuff happens.:hugs

That does make me feel better, that if she was laying internally, which I highly suspect after lots of reading, there was nothing I could have done.

The Cockerels were is rare form this morning and the entire dynamic has changed in Sesame’s absence. Males and females are divided today. I am not good, if I see something, at not intervening. Chicken Language is absurd to me at times.

Hair appt moved to today, so off I go. Just finished up fried chicken at Jack’s. Yum!!! Not sure where Jack’s locations are, but if you are in Alabama, it is a must to try!

Fresh and clean and full of stink eye for me.

Hubby just came home for lunch. His coworker has a fantastic puppy that he got about 10 months ago.
He is going to find out if the breeder will have puppies available this spring.
Its a Belgian Melinois. Super good temperament and well behaved.

:celebrate and :fl I would love to have one.
