Good night Smuv! Rest well. Hubby going to bed, now i can wrap!

I just got done doing all my Christmas shopping at Walmart. I decided to go late so it wouldn’t be busy. It was lovely. My SIL decided to come with me and I’m glad she did. Im plumb worn out with working 30+ hours over the last 3 days. She offered to drive back and I took her up on it.
How many are you up to now Rae?
It’s six now. Only 4 more eggs that I feel even a little hopeful for. I’m so glad that I don’t have to worry about having a lonely chick.

I heard back from the artist today and he said he would paint a picture of Sesame!! We will get together in January and figure out a price, but he would definitely do it no matter what. I am so excited!

The new chicks are getting so big! Especially that Favaucana. I moved them to Sesame’s side tonight to sleep. They needed more room than the guinea pig cage to move around in on these long nights.

So today is my dad's birthday. I always make his birthday cake, and this year I made it chicken themed! (He has chickens too so he didn't mind at all). I was so proud of my cake I decided to enter it in the baking contest. Check it out:

ETA: for my fellow baking show enthusiasts, I used Mary Berry's reduced sugar carrot cake recipe. It was on one of the Masterclass episodes of The Great British Baking Show. It was really yummy!

Good morning everyone! I hope you all slept with without any of the aforementioned bugs biting.

All the chickies survived the night. YAY! Today looks like it will be a slow day at work. Which will be nice. I need to cut up 40lbs of apples, for apple sauce and apple crisp.

Good morning Chicken Folk! Be DAMNED I get up early to wrap gifts, and the PIC waddles his yawning little butt out here 10 minutes later.... *Whacha doon?* NUNYA you little PIA!!! :he
