Official Squatch Watchers

Morning ya'll.

Cutting up 40 pounds of apples is no small chore. Do you have to peel all of them too? Some recipes I saw left the peels on for sauce.

Whatca gonna do Smuv?? Do you think he will stay asleep?

At least in my opinion I'd rather be invaded by a furred creature than insects.
Depends on the furred creature. I'd love to have a Sasquatch invade my house. I would invite him to sit down for some milk and cookies and tell him all about his fan club. The Squatch Watchers

Got a ham, so ham, green bean casserole and mashed taters (taterstaterstaters) for Xmas BreakUnchInner. (I FORGOT TO RECORD THE TATERS SONG!! AUGH SORRY!!!)
Found a pretty easy, grain free cookie recipe, so I'll make those.

My biggest obstacle currently, is finding 30 minutes away from the PIC to wrap gifts. I could load everything up in to his bedroom, as that's the only room with the floor space AND a door lock.... but he'd be at the door, along with the pooches, wanting to know what I was doing.

I'm gonna try to go to bed early. I normally am awake for a good hour before he wakes up, but the closer to Xmas it gets... the earlier he wakes up.
Yeah Smuv. I have been waiting patiently for the taters song since you told us about it. I want to play it for my DH since he is the one who hates the word taters. It will really rile him up !!!!

Good morning all. Headed to Cleveland today to do some Christmas shopping. Much bigger malls and better stores there. The people watching is better too. DH is off today too so we are making a fun day of it. Having dinner after shopping then going into downtown Cleveland to the square to look at all the Christmas lights. A little snow would be nice.....

I'm super lazy so I'd leave the peels on.... plus, that's where a lot of the nutrients are at.
The first time I made apple sauce this year, I peeled the first 20lbs. It took about 6 hours and my hands hurt. NO. THANK. YOU! The next 20lbs, I left the peels on and used my food mill to get them out once I had cooked the apples down. MUCH easier, and tastier too!

I'm going to have to peel the apples for apple crisp though, but I can probably count on my mom's help for that.
