I got the water heater in the coop and ready to turn on when the temperature falls this evening.

And i am working on making another out of an old metal feed pan , an aluminum foil turkey pan and an old drawer, plus the socket extension cord etc.

Sammie, I am SUPER sorry to hear about your chickies. I hope they didn't get into the poison and, if they did, they have a quick recovery.

As said previously, you REALLY need to get some sav a chick and soon! That stuff is a miracle. I know they have it on Amazon. I wish they came in a bigger container, but I can only find the little packets.

I screetched at poor DH for throwing out the popped ends of the green beans I was going to give to the chickens. WHY?! He's been on my chit list all day, and it's MOSTLY cause of PMS, and I'm still in pain from moving the furniture and it's painful to breathe. So, every tiny dumbarse thing DH does is getting like the full wrath from hell! :(

Painted my toenails, bathed both the dogs and cleaned green beans for tomoroow nights dinner. Making a ham, green bean casserole, pasta salad and loaded mashed potatoes.

Are you one of those tacky Christmas light people? With the grandiose sound effects and all?
lol :cool: (you know I'm just playing)

My hubby got those Starshower laser light things this year (I totally killed Christmas for him, he used to put lights up and a tree and all that stuff). The whole time he was in FL I didn't turn em on once, lol. Guess the neighbs are figuring out who the grinch is in the family!
