Official Squatch Watchers

Hubs tried to get me to do the greens and black eyed peas today. I said nope, it's just too farty of a combo.

Let me tell you something depressing.... I FINALLY get to have chickens, fresh eggs daily...... and DH seems to be REALLY sensitive to them.... I mean, clouds of green follows him... as in, he takes up to 5 charcoal pills and it STILL barely takes the edge off the smell.... as in, he has been THISCLOSE to being kicked out of the bedroom and on to the couch it stanks so bad!!! :gig

I noticed after our chickens started laying that my stomach would hurt after I ate them, especially if I ate them with soft or runny yolks. It took my system a few months to adjust but they are fine now.

All my chickens stayed huddled up close to the house today except for the bantam Cochins. Those little guys were roaming around all day acting like nothing was wrong are Cochins normally good with cold weather?
My B Cochins don't seem fazed by our 14 degree temps today

My Standard Cochin and his half Cochin offspring don’t seem to mind the cold at all.
