My eggs are like solid fart from the time they hit the lips on one end to the time they depart the other. I don't know why, maybe the better diet makes farty eggs?

Let me tell you something depressing.... I FINALLY get to have chickens, fresh eggs daily...... and DH seems to be REALLY sensitive to them.... I mean, clouds of green follows him... as in, he takes up to 5 charcoal pills and it STILL barely takes the edge off the smell.... as in, he has been THISCLOSE to being kicked out of the bedroom and on to the couch it stanks so bad!!!

OMG

All my chickens stayed huddled up close to the house today except for the bantam Cochins. Those little guys were roaming around all day acting like nothing was wrong are Cochins normally good with cold weather?

My Cochin's are really tough little monsters. If I opened the runs to the main/human yard they would be everywhere while the others would stay in.

Is that post for real? I'm laughing my ass off! I can't imagine posting that with a straight face. Holy crap

Harris farms 5 waterer is what I am using

I have harris farms plastic ones. I hate that they are so hard to twist and they get stuck especially when it is cold.
