ALL within 30 minutes. Se the hatching egg on the left?!?!?!
BABIES!!!! I totally forgot you had babies on the wayyyyyyy. How many are there now? (I only went back about 5 pages)... Do you know what kinds they're supposed to be or are they surprises?

Hey peeps
1 Parents are giving me a respite to BYC, cuz one of our chickens is sick. We've seen blood everywhere, and it's all over her comb. We think it's frostbite. We put blu-kote on it and moved the chicken's roosts to dad's workshop, which is connected to the workshop and warmer and drier, but not significantly enough to lose their acclimation.

Whoah, whoah, whoah, @CSAchook has squatches?!!?!?! When did this happen?!?!?!

Oooh, we're on the topic of taters, are we? I love me some mashed taters, and/or some tater tots. Don't judge me. They're good.

What else did I miss?

Ruby! Glad to see you back!:hugs Most people put bag balm or vaseline on frostbitten combs. A light touch is best, skin is fragile and may bleed.

Good to see you Ruby! I sold my Bantam Brahmas because I needed to size down and I didn’t enjoy them. Also sent a Cockerel with them. Now I have that “about 12” my husband initially thought I had. I also think one of my 6 week old Bantam Easter Eggers is a boy! :barnie

Tell us about your Christmas Break! Sorry about your chicken. Do you have pictures?

Do you have any pics of the bird? My bird w/ frost bite has either black bits on it's comb, or white areas. Is it possible that another bird bit her? I keep seeing my other birds grabbing and pulling on Odin's comb and waddles.
