Sassy, can I refer to them as "tater tots"??

My nephew's name is Tate, when he was little we called him Tater tot. He's a giant now so we no longer call him that (13 1/2 years old & 6' tall).

I am predicting my son to be tall too. At 11, he was 5’2”. He will be 12 in March. I am not ready for him to be taller than me and he is so close.

I got the bulb at Wal-Mart. In the lightbulb section. Pretty sure the box was all white. Online it only shows a GE bulb available in store. The picture of the box online says “heat lamp. Specialty bulb”
It’s red with the silver back...

I am sure your birds will be OK. You used the bulb before with no issues.

I have this Nutridrench liquid. How in the heck do YOU mix it? Say I want to make 8oz., how many drops?

I either follow bottle instructions or wing it.

I've been lurking today, but haven't felt like interacting much. Well, now I have to because I have a story to tell. We put a plastic fabric cutting mat on top of the chick pen because we had a few chicks decide to fly over the edge and go on walkabout around the house. It didn't cover the whole top of the brooder, but it seemed to keep them in. Well that worked for a few days, but I noticed when I was getting meat from the freezer for dinner that there were only 5 chicks in the brooder. My larger pullet decided to go on walkabout in my pantry...... We had to get creative and I used a table leaf to block the open part of the brooder top. I need to get these little stinky taters out of my house and into the coop.

In other news, my MIL and I went to the local Corningware/correll outlet that is going out of business, we got a bunch of stuff for $120. It was originally $300.

My kids in the hospital refuse to stay in their designated pens. They are everywhere and poop everywhere. But they are getting healthy, so I'll tolerate it for a bit more.

I am predicting my son to be tall too. At 11, he was 5’2”. He will be 12 in March. I am not ready for him to be taller than me and he is so close.

Hmmmmm I was taller than Mom (5'7") when I was 7.

My son is 18 mo and is 36” tall already. The rule of thumb is that kids are generally twice as tall as their height at 2 years. At this rate he is set to be well above 6’.

Hmmmmm I was taller than Mom (5'7") when I was 7.

I was taller than my mom at 9 or 10. She is 5’6”. I’m 6’1”
