Funny thing happened today well two funny things. First one is I was out feeding and watering with treats. I have a separate space for my Ameraucanas and I was in there must have forgotten to latch the door. I was closing up and noticed a strange chicken in my mix flock. I rushed to see who the stranger was. One of the Ameraucana hens was running around steeling all the treats and nobody noticed not one of them got upset or anything. I called her and told her get back to your house and she went sulking. I can't believe there wasn't a squabble. So distracted by the treats nobody cared.
The second one is I've been keeping the momma and chicks in the garage since they hatched. Well I was trying to catch them to take them outside and needed my wife to hold momma while I caught the chicks. My wife goes oh my gosh is that the babies how did they get so big they are only three weeks old. She didn't know they grew so fast lol. She was really amazed

Wait until you grow some ducks or guineas! Zzzzooom! Full grown suddenly. Mine that hatched in July should lay this spring. They are full grown!

Hiya Misty! Seen you around the forums. Welcome. Everything here is OT, so jump in. We talk about EVERYTHING. We use the word *tater* instead of an actual curse word, and you can start off by posting whatever... what did you have for dinner? Do you have inside chickens? We're just a glorified chat room! :lau

BTW, we hooked up the aquarium heater last night, and the waterer didn't freeze! Whoot! Still gonna try that one forever water heater I posted.

We welcome everybody darlin. We have people who posts a billion times a day (like me), some who post once or twice a day, or once or twice a week... or just pop in whenever. You may post something and, 2 hours later, come back to 10 pages worth of stuff... don't let it overwhelm ya! We talk about tater all day! Just lots and lots of bulltater!!! lol

No chickens at this time, in learning mod. Hubby and I are trying to save for the journey. However we're waiting for the green light on hubby's cancer. We wanted to start but financially it may have not bin fare to the new editions. I had a farm years back, & it was nice.
