They did rapid strep & mono, both negative, but they're sending out the strep for culture. So they're saying it's just a virus. *Could* be hand-foot-mouth, b/c of the blisters on her tonsil, but can't say it is for sure. We've been really lucky.. we've been able to avoid all the bathroom illnesses that have been going around. It helps that they only had school 1 day since Dec 21st. I didn't get them the flu vaccine this year, yet. The big one got her HPV vaccine during break and I was extra worried about it b/c people having problems w/ it so I didn't want to add the flu vaccine to it. (She was fine, btw).. and my tiny human has a needle problem so she has been putting it off. They have the next 2 Mondays off so if she's healed I'll probably try to get them done then. I know it doesn't work for all strains, but it will help w/ some.Apryl,

Super excited! I got an egg today! Not expected any until Feb! It was frozen, split and poopy but it was all mine! Pictured with a grade A large white egg from the store!

How long ago did you buy them? They can get it from wild birds, but if there are lesions inside her, she has had it for a while. Birds can be exposed to Mereks and seem ok, but once they get it, not going away. I bet it is in that breeders flock. It is very prevalent. If i had it to do over i would never have bought those birds from the guy in tractor supply.
