Our kid had rice, meat balls, & taters with gravy. I had coffee, eat some toast later, bed time snack :)Today was a day, could have choked intern. Doc couldn't be there had an emergency, father was in surgery. Long story short to late. We tried to explain to intern about peg tube. His response go to emerge, yup true story. Then couldn't get prescription, have to wait for doc to verify. Then tried to make next appt computers are down:mad:By now I'm ready to blow a gasket. I'm thankful to be home & I didn't commit murder :rantOne nice thing our niece,her son, & boyfriend sent some nice gifts.
Communication or organizational skills are apparently not covered in medical school.

@MrsMistyReal last summer a 4 the year surgical intern almost killed my husband in an emergency room by opening up an 18 inch abdominal incision with his bare hands. It was a post op infection. I told him the day beforewhen he was writing orders for discharge that it was hot site and he should not be discharged(as in hot taters hot) I come from a varied medical background---- I said "see ya in 24 hrs buddy."
He had a soup of germs brewing in there including msra.
I could have killed that kid. I hope he learned by the experience.
*we were back in 22 hrs.
