Just got off the phone with PBM.... she had to euthanize her millie, who went downhill rather quickly. She may or may not be on today.

Edit to Add: I gave her permission to take a Xanax and a glass of wine.

In totally unrelated news, I just bought this.

Incidentally, it is taller than the old playpen and doesn't have those handy X cross-bars for MD to climb up.

Took Granddaughter about six months to conquer one of those, then the real fun began... Now she's finally starting to follow rules and commands, but not without a ton of attitude.

Update on the comb situation, nothing is turning black the color is slowly creeping back into the spikes. He has some minor blistering which I'm actually glad to see, if it blisters it's alive. I'm having a really hard time gauging the damage since he's rolled his greasy butt in the dirt so much. Noticed that even my little dom has a little bit of bite on her comb tip but dummy sleeps like a rooster so not too much i could do.

PBM is currently relaxed, snuggled up in bed with a coupla chickies. She is reading through a chicken heath book, refreshing her limited chicken illness knowledge. Keep trying to tell her, she took ONE BIRD CLASS a billion years ago... she couldn't have retained perfect info all this time later... she's really being down on herself.

I forgot if I told you, but me, my mom, and my 12yo brother all tested positive for flu. My 11yo sis is not feeling so well, but tested negative. Dad and 9yo bro are feeling fine. My mom is on her stomach on the floor right now, because she's pinched a nerve in her back.
